## Description

**Job title: Sr Scrum Master**

**Location: Nashville, TN**

**Duration: 6+ months contract**

**Rate: $Best Possible**

## Requirements

**Responsibilities :**

•           Facilitating Scrum ceremonies: Leading daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and stay within timeboxes.

•           Impediment removal: Identifying and actively resolving any obstacles that hinder the team's progress, whether technical, process-related, or interpersonal.

•           Coaching and mentoring: Guiding the team on how to effectively use Scrum practices, self-organize, and continuously improve their processes.

•           Product backlog management: Collaborating with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity and understanding of user stories.

•           Communication and collaboration: Fostering open communication within the team and with stakeholders, ensuring transparency around project status and potential risks.

•           Promoting continuous improvement: Encouraging the team to reflect on their work during retrospectives and identify areas for improvement.

**Essential skills:**

•           Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum: Deep knowledge of Scrum principles, practices, and artifacts.

•           Excellent communication and facilitation skills: Ability to effectively lead meetings, actively listen, and guide discussions.

•           Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities: Identifying root causes of issues and finding solutions to address them.

•           Leadership and coaching skills: Inspiring and empowering the team to work towards shared goals.

•           Adaptability and flexibility: Responding to changing circumstances and adjusting plans as needed.
