## Description

**Okie Staffing** is currently hiring **experienced Cooks** to support high-volume hospitality clients, including events, catering, and resort-style environments. If you take pride in quality food, fast-paced kitchens, and being part of a strong team—this is a great opportunity.

### **What You’ll Do**

-   Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to detail
-   Assist with food production for restaurants, catering, and events
-   Follow recipes, prep sheets, and portion standards
-   Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
-   Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO)
-   Support team members and communicate effectively during service
-   Uphold food safety and workplace safety standards

## Requirements

**Required Qualifications**

-   Culinary training or trade certification **preferred**
-   **ServSafe Certification** (or ability to obtain)
-   Ability to **communicate effectively in English** with guests, supervisors, and team members
-   Minimum of **3 years of cooking experience** in a professional kitchen
-   Strong knowledge of **food safety, handling, and sanitation standards**
-   Experience in **high-volume or hospitality environments** preferred
-   Background in **culinary competitions or advanced training** is a plus
-   **Uniform Requirements**

-   Black pants
-   Black shirt
-   Non-slip shoes (recommended)
