📍 Location: Abu Dhabi

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified **Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist** to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide specialized care for children and adolescents with rheumatologic, autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage pediatric patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions.
-   Evaluate children with inflammatory joint, muscle, bone, and connective tissue disorders.
-   Manage conditions including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, juvenile lupus, vasculitis, and other pediatric rheumatologic disorders.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient response and disease progression.
-   Prescribe and monitor appropriate pharmacological and biologic therapies.
-   Coordinate care with pediatricians, immunologists, orthopedists, physiotherapists, and other specialists.
-   Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and long-term disease management.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings.
-   Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
-   Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, patient-safety standards, and UAE healthcare regulations.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement programs, and continuing medical education.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Pediatrics** with fellowship or subspecialty training in **Pediatric Rheumatology**.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as required under UAE PQR guidelines.
-   Valid professional license/eligibility or eligibility to obtain **DOH licensing** in Abu Dhabi.
-   Proven experience managing pediatric rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions.
-   Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
-   Excellent communication skills, particularly with children and their families.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
