## Description

Are you interested in working with a leading education technology player, the global leader in the assessment and certification of professional skills industry with presence in more than 200 countries worldwide? If so, this is the chance to **apply now!** 📥

**PeopleCert** is looking for a visionary **Sitecore Team Leader** to drive the re-engineering and modernization of our digital platforms.

This role combines hands-on Sitecore expertise with strategic leadership, guiding a development team to deliver scalable, secure, high-performance digital solutions. You will lead the end-to-end technical direction of our Sitecore ecosystem, support the transition from an older Sitecore implementation to the latest Sitecore architecture, optimize digital customer journeys, integrate with enterprise systems, and ensure alignment with business goals.

This is an ideal opportunity for a technology leader who thrives on innovation, quality, collaboration, and impactful digital transformation.

**As a Sitecore Team Leader your tasks will be the following:**

- Define and oversee the Sitecore architecture across all digital platforms, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with Sitecore principles and modern development standards.
- Lead the technical roadmap for the evolution of the current Sitecore implementation, including upgrade, migration, re-engineering, and modernization activities.
- Guide the team in transitioning from legacy Sitecore patterns to modern approaches, including modular architecture, headless delivery, API-first integrations, cloud readiness, and reusable component design.
- Lead project planning and delivery for Sitecore initiatives, managing timelines, sprints, resources, technical dependencies, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful, on-time implementations.
- Act as the technical-business bridge, translating strategic objectives, digital experience goals, and customer journey requirements into robust Sitecore solutions that deliver measurable business value.
- Own the technical quality of Sitecore delivery, including code reviews, architecture reviews, release readiness, performance optimization, security practices, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, content teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
- Support integrations between Sitecore and enterprise platforms such as CRM, ERP, identity management, marketing automation, analytics, search, payment, and other business-critical systems.
- Stay ahead of Sitecore updates, community best practices, cloud and headless CMS trends, accessibility standards, SEO practices, and emerging digital experience technologies.
- Build and mentor a high-performing Sitecore development team, creating a culture of collaboration, innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement through coaching and professional development.
- Support incident resolution, technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of platform stability and performance.

**What we look for:**

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software or web development, including 2+ years of proven experience in a technical leadership or team leadership role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Sitecore XP/XM, including components, templates, layouts, renderings, workflows, publishing, content architecture, and marketing features.
- Experience working with older Sitecore implementations and a strong understanding of upgrade, migration, refactoring, and technical debt reduction challenges.
- Strong .NET and C# background, with hands-on experience in ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Solid understanding of Sitecore Helix principles and modern development best practices for building modular, maintainable solutions.
- Good understanding of modern Sitecore architecture, including headless CMS concepts, Sitecore JSS, Next.js, Experience Edge, or XM Cloud, would be considered an advantage. Sitecore's JSS for Next.js documentation confirms Next.js support through Sitecore's JavaScript Rendering SDK, which is relevant for modern headless delivery models.
- Ability to design scalable architectures and guide the development team through successful implementation.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, environment management, and release governance.
- Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility, SEO, security, analytics tagging, and digital customer experience optimization.
- Ability to align technical solutions with business goals and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent knowledge of English. C2 level certification is desired; a LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be considered a plus.
- Sitecore certification would be considered a strong advantage.

**What we offer:**

- Work in an international, dynamic and fun atmosphere

- Huge learning experience in using best practices and global environment
