## Description

**Make a Real Impact as a Functional Skills Maths Tutor.**

Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students with **SEN needs**? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors who’ll provide personalised, 1:1 support for students in **Functional Skills Level 1 Maths**. These **in-person** sessions in **Enfield** offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

-   This job is **in person in the Enfield area.**
-   **Hour(s):** 2 hours per week.
-   **Contract Length:** 8 weeks.
-   **Available Day(s) and Time(s):** Monday mornings, Wednesday & Friday early afternoons.
-   **Subject and Level:** Functional Skills Maths, Level 1.
-   **Start Date:** Immediate.
-   **Rate of Pay:** £30 p/h.

**What You'll Do:**

-   Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level.
-   Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student.
-   Provide targeted support for students.
-   Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment.
-   Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes.
-   Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in.
-   Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager.

## Requirements

**We're looking for someone who has:**

-   A Bachelor’s degree.
-   1+ years of tutoring / teaching experience.
-   An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   The right to be self employed in the UK.
