## Description

National Ramp manufactures accessibility ramp solutions that help elderly and disabled people regain mobility and independence. As part of this work, the team builds products that support safety, reliability, and everyday freedom for the people who use them.

This role is an opportunity to contribute directly to the manufacturing of ramp systems that make a meaningful difference. The Welder plays an important part in producing high-quality components and supporting steady production through close collaboration with the broader manufacturing team.

### Responsibilities

-   Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding on ramp components to specification.
-   Read blueprints and fabrication drawings to assemble welded metal structures accurately.
-   Inspect weld quality and correct defects to meet safety and quality standards.
-   Operate welding and cutting equipment while following all shop safety procedures.
-   Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output and manufacturing deadlines.

## Requirements

-   Completion of a welding program.
-   2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
-   Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
-   Ability to read blueprints accurately and use measuring tools with precision.
-   Knowledge of welding safety standards and proper use of protective equipment.
-   Able to lift materials and stand for extended periods during production shifts.
-   Availability to work first or second shift.
-   Eligible to work in the United States.

**Location:** Valley Cottage, NY (On-Site), 5 days a week.

**Salary Range:** $22-$27/hour, compensation is based on experience
