We invite a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our collaborative team. In this role, you'll lead performance testing for complex cloud-based systems, helping ensure their performance, scalability, and resilience. You’ll design performance-testing approaches, analyze system behavior across the stack, identify root causes of performance issues, and recommend improvements.

**✅ Is that you?**

-   4-7 years of experience in software testing, test automation, performance testing, or performance engineering
-   Strong hands-on experience with performance testing, including the ability to start performance testing for a component from scratch
-   Strong understanding of system architecture and how application, infrastructure, cloud, and network components affect performance
-   Expertise in performance analysis, including network latency tuning, caching strategies, and database connection pooling
-   Experience with capacity planning and cost-vs-performance analysis, with FinOps awareness
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate performance issues and determine their root causes
-   Programming or scripting skills, preferably with Python or Scala
-   Hands-on experience with AWS or another major cloud platform
-   Strong technical communication and collaboration skills
-   Strong client and stakeholder management skills and ability to translate business and technical requirements into clear performance-testing plans
-   Technical leadership skills and experience mentoring junior and/or intermediate engineers
-   Upper-Intermediate+ English level

**Desirable:**

-   Experience with AWS CloudWatch Logs Insights, AWS X-Ray, Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling, Amazon Aurora/DynamoDB Performance Insights, AWS Compute Optimizer
-   Experience with Distributed Gatling Enterprise, k6 Cloud, Gremlin/Chaos Mesh
-   Experience with OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, Datadog APM, or Prometheus/Grafana
-   Relevant certifications/courses, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer/Solutions Architect – Professional, SRE Fundamentals, or Advanced Cloud Systems Performance & Profiling

🧩**Key responsibilities and your contribution**

In this role, you'll lead performance testing for complex cloud-based systems, focusing on scalability, resilience, and deep performance analysis.

-   Define and set up performance testing approaches for cloud-native components and architectures (microservices, serverless, containers)
-   Test and validate cloud elasticity, auto-scaling policies, failover, and self-healing mechanisms under peak load
-   Perform deep-dive root-cause analysis (heap dumps, thread dumps, memory leak identification, and database query optimization)
-   Establish Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), SLAs, SLOs, and Error Budgets with product managers
-   Translate business and technical requirements into performance-testing plans, defining testing scope, test scenarios, and relevant metrics
-   Analyze performance results and system behavior to identify bottlenecks, determine root causes, and recommend improvements
