We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a **Regional Design Manager** to join our team.

Working across various disciplines and project teams, the Regional Design Manager will ensure that all design activities are delivered safely, efficiently, while supporting the continued growth and successful delivery of the regional portfolio. This role will involve travel across the different projects within a particular region.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Lead, mentor and provide technical oversight to Design Managers and multidisciplinary design teams across multiple projects within the region.
-   Establish and maintain regional design governance, standards, procedures and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency and quality of delivery.
-   Drive design strategy and delivery from concept through construction and commissioning, ensuring alignment with programme, cost, quality and operational objectives.
-   Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders, acting as the primary escalation point for design, engineering and technical risks.
-   Oversee technical submissions, RFIs, change management, IFC releases and design coordination activities to ensure projects remain on schedule.
-   Lead design assurance, value engineering and standardisation initiatives, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, industry standards and client requirements.
-   Monitor regional design performance through risk management, KPI tracking and executive reporting, providing clear updates to senior leadership.
-   Collaborate with Project Directors, Construction, Commercial, Procurement and Commissioning teams to ensure successful project delivery, sustainability targets and final handover requirements are achieved.

## Requirements

-   Degree qualified in Engineering, Architecture, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
-   10+ years' experience in Design Management, Engineering Management, or Technical Project Delivery within data centres, mission critical, or large-scale construction projects.
-   Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design teams across multiple concurrent projects.
-   Strong understanding of CSA, Mechanical and Electrical systems, design coordination and project delivery.
-   Experience managing design consultants, technical submissions, RFIs, change control and design assurance processes.
-   Knowledge of European regulations, industry standards and digital delivery/BIM methodologies.
-   Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
