**We're Hiring |** Specialist Cardiac Surgeon

📍 Location: Dubai

We are seeking a highly skilled **Specialist Cardiac Surgeon** to join our multidisciplinary team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and surgically treating patients with congenital and acquired cardiovascular diseases while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. The role involves performing complex cardiac surgical procedures, participating in multidisciplinary case discussions, and ensuring excellent clinical outcomes in accordance with DHA regulations and international standards.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiac and thoracic surgical conditions.
-   Perform a wide range of adult cardiac surgical procedures, including:

-   Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
-   Heart valve repair and replacement
-   Aortic aneurysm and dissection surgery
-   Minimally invasive cardiac surgery
-   Emergency cardiac surgical interventions

-   Provide comprehensive pre-operative assessment and post-operative management.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings with cardiologists, intensivists, anesthesiologists, and allied healthcare professionals.
-   Manage critically ill cardiac surgery patients in the ICU.
-   Ensure accurate clinical documentation and maintain electronic medical records.
-   Respond promptly to emergency and on-call surgical cases.
-   Supervise and support junior physicians and other healthcare staff.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
-   Maintain compliance with DHA regulations, hospital policies, and international clinical standards.
-   Participate in continuing medical education (CME), research, and academic activities.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
-   Master's, Doctorate, or equivalent qualification in Cardiothoracic/Cardiac Surgery.
-   Completion of accredited specialist training in Cardiac Surgery.
-   Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as a **Specialist Cardiac Surgeon** (or eligibility to obtain one).
-   International board certification is preferred.
