**Role Overview**

We are looking for experienced Linguists with expertise in language technologies and AI data projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing linguistic rubrics, annotation taxonomies, and quality guidelines, while collaborating with clients to design and refine annotation frameworks for multilingual AI projects.

## Requirements

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Develop and review linguistic rubrics, taxonomies, and annotation guidelines.
-   Collaborate with clients and internal teams to co-develop project-specific linguistic standards and documentation.
-   Conduct linguistic reviews, quality assurance, and error analysis to ensure high-quality deliverables.
-   Support projects involving **ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition), TTS (Text-to-Speech), transcription, speech annotation, and NLP.**
-   Provide linguistic expertise to improve annotation quality and AI model performance.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**

-   **Master's or Ph.D.** in **Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Computational Linguistics**, or a related field.
-   Native or near-native proficiency in the target language with excellent English communication skills.
-   **3+ years** of experience in AI language data, linguistic annotation, localization, or speech technology projects.
-   Proven experience in creating annotation guidelines, rubric/tag development, taxonomy design, and linguistic quality frameworks.
-   Experience working directly with clients to develop and review linguistic guidelines.
-   Strong understanding of **ASR, TTS, transcription, speech annotation, and NLP workflows.**

**Preferred Skills**

-   Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, or AI data annotation projects.
-   Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
