## Description

We are seeking a proficient **Mechanical Design Engineer** to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising mechanical systems and components for various construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Develop detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications for HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
-   Use CAD and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) to prepare layouts and 3D models.
-   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs with architectural and structural layouts.
-   Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to verify design viability and performance.
-   Review and revise designs based on project requirements, codes, and client feedback.
-   Ensure all designs comply with local regulations and industry standards.
-   Coordinate with contractors, and suppliers to support project execution.
-   Participate in site visits to monitor installation and resolve design-related issues.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
-   Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
-   Proficiency in CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
-   Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
-   Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
-   Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-   Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
-   Previous experience with a consultant.
