## Description

**The Greenridge Group** is a **prime contractor and consulting firm** specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies.

We are seeking an experienced **Senior Design Manager – A/E Services** to support LAUSD’s Facilities Services Division. This senior-level role will oversee multiple **seismic, critical repair, retrofit, and engineering repair projects** while managing design teams and coordinating projects through the design review process.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Manage multiple facilities design and capital improvement projects.
-   Lead and supervise architects, engineers, consultants, and other design professionals.
-   Coordinate the design process to ensure compliance with project scope, budget, schedule, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
-   Oversee design reviews and ensure projects meet LAUSD standards and guidelines.
-   Provide clear direction to architects regarding project goals, schedules, budgets, and performance expectations.
-   Monitor project planning and design progress and provide recommendations and status updates.
-   Review design changes and help ensure projects remain within budget.
-   Coordinate with architects, consultants, District personnel, and other project stakeholders.

## Requirements

### Minimum Qualifications

-   **14 years of full-time paid professional experience** managing facilities design or planning and coordinating capital projects, including overall design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling.
-   At least **4 years of experience** involving the design, planning, and construction of **educational facilities or similar public-agency projects**.
-   Bachelor’s degree in **Architecture or Engineering**.
-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

### Preferred Qualifications

-   Master’s degree in Architecture or Engineering.
-   California-registered **Architect** or **Professional Engineer (PE)**.
