Accounting / Tax Specialist

\[About Our Client\]

A global trading and investment company. In trading, it specializes in a variety of commodities such as Chemicals, Steel,Semiconductors materials. In investment, it focus on Renewable Energ: Solar/BESS projects & EV-DC Fast Charging Solutions.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

\- Support month-end/ year-end closing processes

\- Handle journal entries and general accounting operations

\- Analyzes financial information, and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports

\- Assist Consolidation reporting of US GAAP and IFRS (consolidation package)

\- Analyzes accounting issue and problem and report to Accounting head/Controller

\- Support local tax compliance reporting(On the job training provided; no prior tax experience required)

\- Perform all other functions requested that are within the scope of this job as deemed necessary or appropriate by manager

## Requirements

\[Qualifications\]

\- Smart, quick-thinking, and able to make sound judgement calls in fast moving situations

\- Strong learning agility; this role involves a steep learning curve, so the ability to pick up new tasks quickly is essential

\- Prior experience(around 3 years) at an accounting firm is a plus

\- Effective oral and written communication skills

\- Proficiency in Excel preferred

\- Prior experience with SAP is a plus

\- Bilingual in English and Korean required
