## Description

-   Perform all required ground duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by crew leader.
-   Assist in the performance of specialized pruning and take-downs, installing cabling and bracing.
-   Safely operate equipment.
-   Participate in all job site safety briefings.
-   Perform proper felling, limbing and bucking techniques with a chainsaw.
-   Perform pruning from the ground with hand tools and pole saws, application of approved rigging techniques and knowledge of standard knots.
-   Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties.
-   Perform ground duties such as job site set up and clean up as required.

## Requirements

-   Previous industry experience is desired, but willing to train right candidate.
-   Knowledge of pruning techniques including large shade trees and ornamentals.
-   Ability to operate chainsaw, chipper, stump grinder and log mover.
-   Knowledge of industry standard rigging techniques and knots
-   Knowledge of native and introduced tree and shrub species and characteristics of each species is desired.
-   Ability to lift 50lbs and occasionally 80-100lbs with assistance
-   Valid Driver's License, CDL preferred.
-   Bi-lingual is a plus

## Benefits

Hourly range $21 - $24.
