## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Batch Plant Operator to lead and oversee the daily operations of our batching plant. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of concrete and other materials. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in batching operations, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Lead and supervise all batching plant operations, ensuring timely and accurate production of concrete mixes
-   Monitor and control batching equipment and systems to ensure consistent quality and compliance with specifications
-   Coordinate with dispatch, quality control, and maintenance teams to optimize plant performance
-   Train, mentor, and supervise junior operators and plant staff
-   Maintain accurate production records, inventory logs, and daily reports
-   Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
-   Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations
-   Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
-   Ensure raw materials are properly stored, handled, and replenished as needed

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in plant operations or engineering is a plus

-   Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete batching or related plant operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
-   Strong knowledge of batching systems, concrete mix designs, and quality control standards
-   Proficient in operating computerized batching systems and plant automation software
-   Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
-   Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
-   Familiarity with OSHA and environmental safety standards

**Preferred Skills**

-   Forklift or heavy equipment operation certification
-   Experience with preventive maintenance programs
-   Knowledge of local construction and materials regulations
-   Bilingual communication skills (if applicable)
