As a Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician at this leading university healthcare facility, you will be integral in delivering high-quality emergency care, supervising junior medical staff, and contributing to the academic mission of the institution. ### Key Responsibilities:

-   Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to a diverse patient population in a high-acuity setting.
-   Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and medical students.
-   Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
-   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
-   Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publication, and teaching.
-   Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with institutional policies.
-   Stay current with advancements in emergency medicine and apply evidence-based practices.

## Requirements

-   Proven clinical experience in emergency medicine, preferably within an academic or tertiary care setting.
-   Demonstrated teaching experience and a commitment to academic medicine.
-   Strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage complex cases in a high-pressure environment.
-   Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
-   Research experience and publications in emergency medicine are advantageous.
-   Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
-   Dedication to continuous professional development and involvement in clinical governance.
