## Description

### About the Role

Our in-house Talent Acquisition team provides best-in-class, consultative recruitment support across the organisation, helping to attract and hire outstanding talent into Telegraph Media Group.

This role partners closely with internal stakeholders across TMG, delivering end-to-end recruitment across a diverse range of disciplines while ensuring a consistently excellent candidate and hiring manager experience. You will specifically support one of our corporate areas, and experience in Sales/Marketing recruitment will be advantageous.

Our Recruiters play a key role in identifying trends within the talent market and ensuring TMG remains an attractive and competitive destination for top talent. As well as supporting BAU recruitment, you will also support Future Talent hiring so any experience within graduate programme hiring and assessment centres will be beneficial.

### Key Responsibilities

● Manage end-to-end recruitment activity for assigned roles, from taking detailed role briefs through to advertising, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and feedback, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

● Build strong relationships with hiring managers, supporting them to define role requirements, understand team needs, and deliver effective hiring outcomes.

● Provide guidance on recruitment best practice, supporting stakeholders with structured interview techniques, candidate evaluation, and fair selection processes.

● Draft engaging and inclusive job advertisements and manage vacancy postings across relevant recruitment channels, including job boards and social platforms.

● Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Workable (ATS), talent communities, and market research to identify high-quality candidates.

● Develop and maintain talent pipelines for frequently hired roles, supporting future hiring needs and reducing time-to-hire.

● Ensure timely communication throughout the recruitment process, including coordinating interviews and delivering clear and constructive feedback to candidates.

● Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting, ensuring activity is recorded correctly and supporting the team’s use of insights to improve performance.

● Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the Talent Acquisition function.

● Support diversity and inclusion initiatives across hiring activity, helping to promote fair and inclusive recruitment practices.

● Collaborate with the wider Talent Acquisition and HR teams, contributing to cross-functional projects and shared team objectives.

### Essential Skills

● Proven recruitment experience, ideally within a relevant sector or function, with the ability to manage roles independently from brief to offer.

● Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and build relationships across a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.

● Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to deliver clear, professional updates to candidates and hiring managers.

● Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing multiple roles and priorities simultaneously.

● Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, with a clear appreciation of what drives a positive candidate experience.

● Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage recruitment processes effectively.

● Confidence using data and metrics to monitor recruitment performance and support continuous improvement, including diversity and inclusion reporting.

### Desirable

● In-house recruitment experience, ideally within a complex or multi-disciplinary organisation.

● Experience recruiting across multiple business functions (e.g. editorial, commercial, technology, or corporate roles).

● Familiarity with Workable or similar modern ATS platforms.

● Experience contributing to process improvement initiatives or recruitment-related projects.
