## Description

**Westview International Language School** is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable **World History Teacher** for the academic year 2026-2027 to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to inspire high school students to develop a deep understanding of global historical events and trends through an engaging and dynamic curriculum.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that cover a broad range of world history topics aligned with the British curriculum.
-   Utilize diverse teaching methodologies to engage students and encourage critical analysis of historical events and their impact on the modern world.
-   Assess student progress regularly using various assessment tools and provide timely, constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
-   Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters inquiry, discussion, and respect for diverse perspectives.
-   Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate interdisciplinary themes and enrich the overall learning experience.
-   Organize and participate in extracurricular activities such as history clubs, debates, or cultural events to enhance students' appreciation of history.
-   Maintain ongoing communication with parents and guardians about student achievements and areas for improvement.
-   Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with pedagogical advances and curriculum developments.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related discipline.
-   Minimum of 3 years teaching experience, preferably within the British curriculum or international school setting.
-   Strong expertise in world history content and ability to make historical concepts relevant and engaging for secondary students.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build productive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
-   Innovative and student-centered teaching approaches that accommodate diverse learning needs.
-   Commitment to professional growth and active participation in the school community.
-   Teaching certification such as PGCE is an advantage.
