TAT-Technologies Tulsa Site in Tulsa, OK is looking for an experienced aerospace **Quality Evaluation Inspector** for our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) quality operations.

**Responsibilities:**

 The Quality Incoming Evaluation Technician is responsible for the inspection, evaluation, documentation, and routing of aircraft heat exchangers, pre-coolers, and related components entering the repair station. This position ensures all incoming units are accurately assessed for condition, repair requirements, warranty status, and compliance with customer, OEM, FAA, and internal quality standards.  Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established ES&H requirements to ensure the protection of associates, the public, and the environment. Takes actions necessary to "stop" work when an unsafe condition or action is identified. Every associate has the right and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions or actions are identified. 

**Essential Duties:**

-   Perform inspections of incoming customer parts in accordance with CMM, EP, Customer PO and internal specifications
-   Test in accordance with Component Maintenance Manual (CMM)
-   Perform basic functional tests or coordinate with technical teams for specialized testing of critical components to confirm operational readiness.
-   Assess the quality and functionality of incoming materials, identifying defects, damages, or discrepancies, and determining acceptability for use in maintenance and repair activities.
-   Record inspection results, maintain accurate logs of incoming items, and update inventory management systems with relevant data (e.g., part numbers, serial numbers, batch details).

-   Provide detailed, accurate feedback to customer service, shop personnel and management on inspected products
-   Address and escalate issues such as delays, damaged goods, or specification mismatches to the appropriate stakeholders.
-   Practice good housekeeping and 5S principles
-   Suggest and implement process improvement ideas
-   Other duties as assigned

## Requirements

-   High School Diploma or equivalent
-   Previous aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
-   Previous MRO evaluation experience preferred but willing to train for the right person
-   Effective written and verbal communication skills
-   Proficient in the use of measurement and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
-   Mechanical, mathematical aptitude
-   Ability to multi-task
-   Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
-   Microsoft Office skills
-   Skills for CMM inspection preferred
-   Must be able to pass pre-hire and random drug screen as part of FAA/DOT facility requirements
-   Must be able to successfully pass background check going back seven years
-   Must be able to work overtime and weekends as business need demands

**Physical Demands:**

-   Standing and sitting for long periods of time
-   Good mobility (position requires movement around the shop floor)
-   Bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds
