### **Note THAT THIS IS A VOLUNTEER POSITION WITHOUT ANY PAY/SALARY/STIPEND.**

**About Proximity Foundation**

Proximity Foundation runs structured coding education programs for young people aged 14-18 at Community Care Institutions (CCIs). Using a computer-based LMS curriculum covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL, we pair students with volunteer mentors in cohort-based sessions designed to build real technical skills and lasting confidence.

We are scaling from the first cohort to many cohorts within Mumbai and building the operational team that will carry this program forward. Every role in Proximity Foundation is a direct investment in the young people we serve.

**Role Type : Volunteer**

**Time Commitment : 3-4 hrs/week**

**Department : Partnerships & Growth**

**Reports to : Lead Volunteer - Fundraising & Partnerships**

**ROLE FOCUS**

You research organizations (Child Care Institutions, CSR organizations, Foundations, Skill building related organizations etc) that have potential to partner with us — and map out what's in it for both sides.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

-   Research potential partners (CCIs, NGOs, tech platforms, Govt bodies, Certification bodies, potential employers etc)
-   Build, manage, and grow a pipeline of partnership
-   Support Outreach efforts

**WHAT A TYPICAL WEEK LOOKS LIKE**

-   Research potential partners - (CCIs, NGOs, Tech platforms, potential employers, cert bodies, Govt bodies etc)
-   For each prospect map what they offer to us AND what we offer to them (as both is essential for the partnership to form)
-   Log findings in the partnership tracker and follow up on the communication
-   Flag dual-track prospects to the Lead F&P
-   Support the outreach drafts and introduction emails as and when needed.
