For almost 10 years, Coastal Babysitters has been helping families across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Byron Bay enjoy everything from date nights to weddings, corporate events and everything in between.

As we continue to grow and launch exciting new technology, we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

The type of person we're looking for:

Every booking is different.

Sometimes everything runs perfectly. Other times a babysitter becomes unavailable, a family needs care that same day, or plans change unexpectedly.

The person we're looking for sees these moments as a challenge, not a problem.

They don't stop at the first "no". They keep thinking, making calls and exploring every option until they've done everything they can to find a solution.

You're also someone who doesn't just answer enquiries, you build relationships. You enjoy getting to know each family's needs, recommending the right solution with confidence, and making the most of every opportunity to turn an enquiry into a booking. You understand that providing exceptional service and helping the business grow go hand in hand.

You'll thrive in this role if you:

-   Love solving problems and can confidently juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
-   Stay calm under pressure and enjoy making decisions
-   Build rapport quickly and communicate confidently and professionally
-   Have excellent attention to detail and enjoy learning new systems and technology
-   Take ownership, back yourself, and aren't afraid to think outside the box
-   Have a commercial mindset and naturally look for opportunities to better support families while growing the business
-   Genuinely enjoy helping people and making a positive difference to their day

Experience we'd love to see:

We're much more interested in finding the right person than someone who's worked in childcare before.

Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:

-   Customer service, relationship management or sales, where you've built rapport, delivered exceptional service and confidently turned enquiries into happy customers.
-   Scheduling, rostering, recruitment or coordination, where you've successfully managed multiple moving parts and solved problems on the go.
-   Hospitality, hotels, travel, events, healthcare or property management, or any other fast-paced, customer-focused environment where no two days are the same.
-   Roles where you've taken ownership, thought on your feet and genuinely enjoyed helping people while contributing to business growth.
