**Job Title: Administrative Assistant with EMR Expertise**

**Location**: Remote work

**Job Description**: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant with experience in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. This role involves managing administrative tasks in a healthcare setting, ensuring accurate patient records, and supporting the medical team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

**Key Responsibilities**:

-   Manage and maintain patient records using EMR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
-   Perform clerical duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence
-   Assist healthcare professionals with administrative tasks and documentation
-   Ensure proper filing and retrieval of electronic medical records
-   Handle patient inquiries and provide support for appointment scheduling and follow-ups
-   Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of all patient information
-   Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies
-   Provide administrative support for office management tasks as needed

**Qualifications**:

-   High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
-   Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting
-   Proficiency in EMR systems and healthcare management software
-   Strong organizational and multitasking skills
-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-   Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

**Preferred Skills**:

-   Experience with billing and coding in a healthcare setting
-   Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
-   Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-   Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks
