## Description

The Senior Manager - uilding Systems MEP Services – ELV/ICT and control engineer at Qiddiya Investment Company will provide independent technical assurance for all Building Systems and Controls, including ELV/ICT systems, Fire Alarm & Life Safety systems, Access Control, CCTV, BMS, Public Address/Voice Evacuation, and related control networks. The role performs targeted inspections and documented spot checks across design stages from concept to detailed design to ensure system accuracy, integration, maintainability, resilience, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. The Sr. Manager coordinates all digital, safety, control, and automation interfaces with MEP, Electrical, Architectural, Fire, Structural, Smart City, and Operations teams.

### Responsibilities

-   Examine ELV/ICT system designs including, Structured cabling, ICT racks, server rooms, and termination layouts, Network diagrams and system schematics, Cable routing, containment, and segregation. Review safety and control systems, Fire Alarm Systems and detection layouts, Voice Evacuation & Public Address systems, Access Control and Security Devices, CCTV layouts, fields of view, and recording logic, Building Management System (BMS) controls. Validate device placement, zoning, network integrity, redundancy, power sourcing, and interface alignment with other systems.
-   Perform risk-based spot checks on every drawing set, Specification, BOQ, focusing on: Sensor and detector locations, Field device placement (readers, cameras, control panels), Cable routing, segregation, and conduit sizing, Network topology (star, ring, redundant loops), Interlock logic between fire alarm, HVAC, power, access, and smoke control systems, Control panel placement and accessibility. Validate consistency between layouts, schematics, BOQs, and sequence-of-operation documents.
-   Coordinate with all disciplines to verify integration between: Fire alarm and mechanical HVAC smoke control systems, BMS with HVAC, electrical metering, pumps, fans, chillers, lifts, and life-safety controls, Access control with architectural door hardware, CCTV with lighting, power, and network systems, ICT networks with Smart City and district control centers, Electrical power distribution and ELV system requirements, Identify clashes, interface gaps, or conflicting control logic.
-   Assess feasibility of device installation, cable routing, and equipment mounting. Review server rooms, IT closets, BMS panels, and fire alarm control rooms for space adequacy and accessibility. Confirm integration with architectural finishes and mechanical ceiling spaces.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or Control Systems Engineering (Mandatory).
-   Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in ELV, ICT, Smart Building Systems, and Controls Engineering.
-   Minimum 8 years in senior technical leadership, design management, or design assurance roles.
-   Strong experience in integrated building technologies including BMS, ICT, Security Systems, FLS, CCTV, Access Control, and Smart Building integration.
-   Strong knowledge of integrated systems architecture, OT/IT convergence, and digital infrastructure.
-   Experience in Saudi Arabia/GCC authority requirements and permitting workflows is mandatory.
-   Experience in Smart City integration and district-level control systems is highly preferred.
-   Familiarity with local and international electrical and safety standards and regulations.
-   Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
