**About the Role**

Norm’s Esso is seeking a Seasonal Tire and Lube Technician to support the shop during the busy spring service season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on automotive work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing safe, efficient, and customer-focused service. The successful candidate will assist with seasonal tire services, oil changes, basic maintenance checks, and general shop support while working as part of a small, collaborative team.

**Key Responsibilities**

·        Perform seasonal tire changeovers on all makes, all models passenger vehicles and light trucks.

·        Mount, balance, inspect, and install tires to ensure safety and performance.

·        Complete oil and filter changes efficiently and accurately.

·        Check and top up essential vehicle fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, and washer fluid.

·        Inspect basic vehicle components such as belts, hoses, filters, and tires for wear or potential safety concerns.

·        Identify and communicate maintenance or safety issues to the service team.

·        Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.

·        Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

·        Provide friendly, professional support to customers when needed.

·        Collaborate with technicians and team members to keep daily operations running smoothly.

## Requirements

**Qualifications and Skills**

·        Previous tire, lube, or general mechanical experience is an asset.

·        Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

·        Ability to perform physical work and lift 50 lbs or more.

·        Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe, high-quality work.

·        Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

·        Reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute in a fast-paced environment.

·        Valid driver’s license required.
