## Description

WINGS ICT Solutions is expanding!  
  
WINGS is looking for an experienced **Software Engineer** to join its product expansion internationally and locally.

The successful candidate will participate in the design, development, and deployment of modern web applications, contributing both to backend services and frontend user interfaces.

**Main responsibilities of the role**

-   Design, develop and deploy scalable RESTful APIs and web services using Node.js
-   Design, develop, and maintain responsive web interfaces using React
-   Build and maintain end-to-end features by integrating frontend and backend services
-   Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following coding standards and participate in team code reviews
-   Enhance and optimize existing services and user interfaces for performance, scalability, and usability
-   Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other teams to understand requirements and contribute to technical design
-   Ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications in collaboration with other teams
-   Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly across the full stack

## Requirements

**Educational requirements**

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technologies, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.

**Essential skills**

-   3+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineer (Full stack)
-   Hands-on experience in JavaScript with React (functional components, hooks, state management)
-   Hands-on experience with Node.js for backend development
-   Experience working with RESTful API design and consumption
-   Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
-   Understanding of Git and version control workflows

**Other Qualifications:**

-   Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
-   Native or fluent Greek, oral and written
-   Initiative, strong sense of accountability and ownership of actions
-   Effective time management & prioritization
-   Analytical mindset and attention to detail
-   Agility, enthusiasm, and self-motivation
