**Overview:**

For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. **Qualifications:**

-   High School diploma or equivalent required.
-   Previous housekeeping/laundry experience preferred.
-   Ability to communicate with patients, staff and visitors.
-   Aptitude to perform basic calculations and transcription of numerical records is required.
-   Ability to speak, read, and write in English is required.
-   Carry weight and lift up to 10lbs. frequently, and up to 40lbs. occasionally.
-   Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
-   Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions.

**Responsibilities:**

Under the direct supervision of the Environment Services Manager, or designee, cleans and services hospital building area, including patient and non-patient space, and performs a variety of housekeeping and or laundry duties to maintain the hospital and its grounds in an orderly and sanitary condition.

**Job Type:**

Per Diem; Day, Evening, Night

**Salary:**

$24.8624/hourly
