## Description

Lead the design, review, and coordination of electrical systems on large-scale engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and leadership capabilities, ensuring that all electrical works meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

**Duties and responsibilities**

-   Lead the design, specification, and coordination of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, and standby power systems.
-   Review and approve electrical engineering drawings, calculations, and submittals.
-   Coordinate with architects, other engineers (MEP, structural, civil), and project stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall designs.
-   Perform site inspections and provide technical support during construction to ensure compliance with approved designs and relevant codes.
-   Evaluate and select appropriate materials and equipment in accordance with project specifications.
-   Participate in value engineering and technical workshops to optimize designs and cost-efficiency.
-   Monitor and review the work of junior engineers and consultants, offering guidance and quality assurance.
-   Ensure designs adhere to international and local electrical codes and safety regulations.
-   Prepare technical reports, documentation, and client presentations as required.

**Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills**

-   Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university, with over 7 years of relevant experience.
-   Master’s Degree (MSc) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university, with over 5 years of relevant experience.

-   Strong understanding of electrical design principles, standards, and best practices.
-   Experience with building services and infrastructure projects, including commercial, residential, or industrial developments.
-   Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, Dialux, or similar design and analysis programs.
-   Familiarity with relevant international codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE).
-   Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
-   Effective communication skills and the ability to lead coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.
-   Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
