## Description

### Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined individual to join our clients team as a **Technician / Installer Helper**. This position involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and service of commercial and industrial **mechanical systems.**

The ideal candidate will not know the business until we train them but it should be a candidate who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting mechanical equipment (enjoys figuring out what is wrong), and working in a variety of environments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who is looking to build a long-term career in a specialized industry. SOME TRAVEL IS REQUIRED

Responsibilities

-   Assist with the installation of mechanical systems

-   Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on installed equipment
-   Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions
-   Assemble and install pumps, piping, hoses, tanks, and related equipment
-   Conduct equipment inspections and identify needed repairs
-   Work with customers to ensure projects and service calls are completed professionally
-   Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles
-   Follow all company safety procedures and job site requirements
-   Complete service reports and related documentation

## Requirements

Qualifications

-   Valid driver's license required
-   Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
-   Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues
-   Dependable with a strong work ethic
-   Good communication and communication skills
-   Willingness to travel out of town occasionally for projects and service work
-   Previous mechanical, construction, industrial maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, or related experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

-   Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials and equipment
-   Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and work in various environments
-   Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
-   Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday

Preferred Experience

-   Mechanical installation or maintenance
-   Industrial equipment servicing
-   Construction or field service work
-   Plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC, or pump systems
-   Fuel, lubrication, or compressed air systems
