## Description

We are looking for a qualified Electrical Technician to carry out daily preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on the electrical systems, installations and equipment at our Gamba site To meet or exceed the company’s production, export and HSSE targets.

-   Undertake simple work order preparation duties in accordance with client procedures to meet operational planning requirements.
-   Complete preventative and remedial maintenance in accordance with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System e.g SAP) schedule and work instructions, with emphasis on safety critical activities.
-   Carry out fault finding and diagnostic checks on all site equipment, ensuring any repairs are addressed promptly.
-   Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner and carry out / apply effective fault finding and investigation techniques.
-   Carry out major servicing, overhauls and intrusive maintenance on site equipment
-   Carry out and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to improve equipment reliability.
-   Covering for supervisors during leave
-   SAP reporting

## Requirements

-   In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, specifically gas and diesel engines, gas turbines and reciprocating gas lift compressors

-   Basic knowledge of instrumentation would be an advantage

-   Good team spirit

-   Good organisational skills.
