### About the Role

We are looking for an experienced **Senior Product Engineer – Finacle Scripting & Oracle** with 10+ years of experience in **Finacle core banking technology**, strong expertise in **Finacle Scripting, Oracle PL/SQL, customization, and integration**.

The ideal candidate will have strong techno-functional capabilities, with the ability to understand business requirements, design technical solutions, develop and customize Finacle applications, and support implementation across core banking modules such as **CASA, Term Deposits (TD), Loans, and related banking products**.

### Key Responsibilities

**Solution Design & Implementation**

-   Lead end-to-end technical and functional solutioning for Finacle-based banking applications.
-   Conduct requirement-gathering workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
-   Perform functional and technical gap analysis and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
-   Configure and customize Finacle modules based on business requirements.
-   Participate in solution design, technical documentation, estimation, and delivery planning.

**Finacle Scripting & Customization**

-   Develop and maintain custom solutions using **Finacle Scripting**.
-   Design and implement Finacle customizations, menus, validations, workflows, and business rules.
-   Analyze existing Finacle functionality and identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization.
-   Troubleshoot complex application and scripting issues across Finacle environments.
-   Ensure customizations follow development standards, performance requirements, and banking best practices.

**Oracle & PL/SQL Development**

-   Develop complex **Oracle PL/SQL** procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and queries.
-   Perform database-level troubleshooting, performance analysis, and optimization.
-   Develop and maintain database solutions supporting Finacle functionality.
-   Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and backend validation using SQL.
-   Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues.

**Integration & API**

-   Design and support integration between Finacle and external/internal banking applications.
-   Work with **APIs, web services, interfaces, and integration frameworks**.
-   Analyze integration issues and coordinate with dependent application teams for resolution.
-   Support inbound and outbound interfaces involving core banking and surrounding systems.

**Batch Processing & Production Support**

-   Manage and support **Finacle batch jobs**, including scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and failure resolution.
-   Investigate production incidents and provide root-cause analysis.
-   Support application deployments, release activities, and post-production validation.
-   Provide L2/L3 technical support for critical Finacle applications.
-   Ensure timely resolution of technical issues in accordance with agreed SLAs.

**Testing & Deployment**

-   Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment activities.
-   Work with QA and business teams to troubleshoot defects and validate fixes.
-   Prepare technical test scenarios and support defect resolution.
-   Participate in release planning, deployment, rollback, and post-deployment activities.

**Stakeholder Management**

-   Collaborate with business users, product owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and other technology stakeholders.
-   Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
-   Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and development teams.
-   Track delivery milestones and proactively communicate risks, dependencies, and issues.

### Required Technical Skills

-   **10+ years of experience in Finacle/core banking technology.**
-   Strong hands-on experience in **Finacle Scripting**.
-   Strong expertise in **Oracle Database and PL/SQL**.
-   Experience in **Finacle customization and configuration**.
-   Strong understanding of **Finacle architecture and core banking processes**.
-   Experience with **API/integration development and troubleshooting**.
-   Hands-on experience with **batch job scheduling and monitoring**.
-   Experience with **Finacle menu customization and business validations**.
-   Good understanding of banking modules such as:

-   CASA
-   Term Deposits (TD)
-   Loans
-   Payments
-   Customer/Account Management
-   Other core banking functionalities

### Functional & Domain Skills

-   Strong understanding of core banking processes and banking products.
-   Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
-   Experience working in banking transformation, implementation, or enhancement projects.
-   Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
-   Experience working in enterprise banking environments with multiple application integrations.

### Preferred Qualifications

-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
-   Previous experience with large-scale **Finacle implementation or transformation projects**.
-   Experience working directly with banking business teams.
-   Exposure to Agile development and enterprise delivery methodologies.
-   Experience in production support and critical banking applications will be an advantage.
