## Description

The Application Service Delivery Manager will drive execution governance, engineering quality, and team productivity across General Insurance platforms. This role requires an experienced leader capable of orchestrating a delivery organization of 50–100 developers across at least 4 parallel delivery teams, enforcing strict architectural compliance, and leading complex monolith-to-microservices migrations without compromising business logic integrity.

## Requirements

-   General Insurance (GI) Expertise: Deep domain knowledge exclusively within the General Insurance sector (e.g., Motor, Property, Casualty, Marine, Commercial lines, Policy Administration, Claims Processing, and Broker/Agent portals).
-   Overall Experience: 10 to 15 years in software engineering and application delivery management.
-   Scale of Leadership: Proven track record of managing a delivery organization of 50 to 100 developers, with demonstrated experience managing a minimum of 4 distinct teams/squads concurrently.
-   Core Technology Stack: Extensive technical background in backend engineering focused on Java / Spring Boot and microservices ecosystems.
-   Architectural Modernization: Hands-on leadership experience in decoupling legacy monolithic applications into microservices, with demonstrable success in capturing and preserving functional and business logic during code migration.
-   Governance & Metric Capabilities:
-   Metric-Driven Management: Demonstrated ability to manage teams using quantitative delivery metrics (velocity, cycle time, story points per developer per day).
-   Quality Enforcement: Strong track record in establishing CI/CD quality gates, code coverage mandates, SIT sign-off criteria, and clean code governance.
-   Stakeholder Translation: Ability to translate deep technical metrics, modernization risks, and engineering health into clear, non-technical business language for executive leadership
