## Description

We are partnering with a growing U.S.-based construction company to recruit a **Construction Project Coordinator** for residential refurbishment projects (including apartment complexes and multifamily properties) together with light commercial projects across the United States.

This is a fully remote role for a calm, organised and proactive individual who enjoys taking ownership and keeping projects moving. The client's Superintendents are the eyes and hands in the field. You are the person who makes sure they know what to check, follows up on what they find, and keeps every open item moving until it is closed. You will run multiple projects at once from your desk, working closely with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to keep work on schedule and on budget.

**PLEASE NOTE:**

-   **Working hours:** Monday to Friday, 15:30–00:30 SAST (subject to US daylight saving changes)
-   **Public Holidays:** You will be required to work on both **South African and U.S. public holidays** (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA).
-   **Internet Requirements:** A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of **25 Mbps (upload & download)** and the ability to support a **wired Ethernet connection** is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
-   **Power Backup:** A **reliable power backup solution** is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
-   **Work Environment:** This is a **fully remote** working role and you must be based in South Africa.

**Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):**

-   Coordinate 5–10 multifamily renovation and light commercial projects at a time, from start to close-out
-   Brief Superintendents before site visits on what to inspect and verify, and follow up on their field reports afterwards
-   Communicate daily with subcontractors, crew leads and suppliers to keep work on schedule
-   Coordinate material orders and track deliveries to avoid delays
-   Track project budgets, process change orders, and flag cost or schedule risks early, with possible solutions
-   Keep project records up to date in ClickUp, same day
-   Communicate clearly and professionally with US-based clients and internal teams

## Requirements

-   At least 2 years' experience coordinating or administering construction, renovation or contracting projects
-   Experience working with subcontractors, suppliers or vendors
-   Experience with project costs, such as budgets, quotes, purchase orders or change orders
-   The ability to juggle many projects and deadlines at once and stay calm under pressure
-   Excellent written and spoken English
-   Comfort with project management software
-   A habit of following through and closing loops without being chased

### Beneficial Experience

-   Residential or multifamily renovation experience
-   ClickUp, Procore, Buildertrend or CompanyCam experience
-   Procurement experience in a construction environment
-   Experience working with US or international clients
