### **Paralegal**

**Position Type:** Full-Time, Remote  
**Working Hours:** U.S. Client Business Hours  
**Location:** Remote (LATAM, Pakistan, Philippines, South Africa Preferred)

### **About the Role**

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to provide substantive legal support across litigation, corporate, and compliance matters.

This role requires strong legal research, drafting, document management, and case preparation capabilities. The Paralegal will work closely with attorneys to ensure legal matters move forward efficiently while maintaining accurate, organized, and audit-ready documentation.

The ideal candidate thrives in deadline-driven environments, communicates professionally, and can manage multiple legal matters simultaneously with minimal supervision.

### **What You’ll Own**

### **Legal Drafting & Documentation**

• Draft contracts, pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal correspondence under attorney supervision  
• Prepare corporate governance documents including resolutions, minutes, and entity filings  
• Review and proofread legal documents for formatting, accuracy, and consistency  
• Assist with contract review and summarize key terms, obligations, and risks

### **Legal Research & Analysis**

• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and government databases  
• Research statutes, regulations, case law, and compliance requirements  
• Prepare concise legal summaries and actionable research memos for attorney review  
• Support attorneys with background research for litigation and transactional matters

### **Case Management & Litigation Support**

• Track litigation calendars, discovery deadlines, hearings, and filing schedules  
• Organize exhibits, evidence files, deposition summaries, and trial binders  
• Support hearing, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation  
• Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is current and accessible

### **E-Discovery & Document Review**

• Assist with document review and e-discovery projects  
• Organize productions and ensure compliance with discovery obligations  
• Manage digital legal records using platforms such as Clio, Relativity, or iManage  
• Maintain accurate and secure legal documentation and version control

### **Compliance & Regulatory Support**

• Support compliance documentation and regulatory filings  
• Assist with policy updates and audit preparation  
• Help maintain records aligned with GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, or industry-specific regulations where applicable  
• Ensure legal files remain audit-ready and compliant with internal procedures

### **Client & Attorney Support**

• Communicate with clients to request documents and provide status updates  
• Coordinate with attorneys to prioritize legal tasks and deadlines  
• Support legal teams with administrative and procedural follow-through  
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality across all communications and records

### **Required Experience & Skills**

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate  
• 3+ years of professional paralegal experience  
• Experience with case/document management systems such as Clio, Relativity, iManage, or similar platforms  
• Strong legal research experience using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or equivalent tools  
• Experience drafting legal documents and supporting discovery processes  
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

### **Preferred Experience**

• Litigation support and trial preparation experience  
• Corporate paralegal experience including entity management and governance documentation  
• Experience supporting compliance and regulatory matters  
• Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, or other compliance frameworks  
• E-discovery and document production experience  
• Experience supporting remote legal teams or multiple attorneys simultaneously

### **What a Typical Day Looks Like**

A Paralegal’s day revolves around supporting attorneys with substantive legal work, organization, and case preparation. You will:  
• Draft and revise legal documents, discovery materials, and correspondence  
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings into actionable memos  
• Manage litigation calendars and ensure deadlines are tracked accurately  
• Organize exhibits, evidence files, and trial preparation materials  
• Coordinate with clients to gather records and maintain organized documentation  
• Support compliance and document review projects while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy

In essence: you provide the legal research, drafting, and organizational backbone that allows attorneys to operate efficiently and effectively.
