## Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced **Specialist/Consultant Pathologist** with a **South African Board qualification** to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnostic pathology services and providing accurate, timely reports to support clinical decision-making and patient care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Perform and interpret a wide range of pathological examinations and diagnostic tests.
-   Analyze tissue, cytology, blood, and other clinical specimens as appropriate to the specialty.
-   Provide accurate and timely pathology reports to referring physicians.
-   Correlate laboratory findings with clinical information and other diagnostic investigations.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and discuss complex cases with treating physicians.
-   Ensure appropriate quality control and compliance with laboratory standards.
-   Maintain accurate clinical and laboratory records.
-   Support clinical governance, patient safety, and infection-control procedures.
-   Stay updated with current developments and best practices in pathology.

## Requirements

-   Recognized medical degree with a specialist qualification in Pathology.
-   **South African Board qualification in Pathology.**
-   Relevant specialist/consultant-level clinical experience.
-   UAE medical licence or eligibility to obtain the relevant UAE authority licence.
-   Strong diagnostic, analytical, and communication skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
