**ABOUT THE ROLE**

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic services and is seeking an experienced Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join its clinical team.

The role offers an opportunity for an internationally trained interventional radiologist to work within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will provide advanced image-guided procedures while working closely with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining high standards of patient-centred care.

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, radiographers, allied health professionals and modern imaging and interventional facilities.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Perform image-guided vascular and non-vascular interventions using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and angiography according to clinical expertise and facility privileges.  
• Assess patients, review relevant imaging, obtain informed consent, plan procedures and manage peri-procedural risks.  
• Perform procedures such as biopsies, drainages, embolisation, angioplasty, stenting and venous access interventions according to scope of practice.  
• Interpret relevant imaging findings and collaborate with surgery, oncology, nephrology, emergency medicine and critical care teams.  
• Maintain appropriate radiation safety, sterile technique, procedural documentation and monitoring of complications.  
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, service development, clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.  
• Support safe and efficient interventional radiology workflows and contribute to evidence-based clinical practice.

## Requirements

Applications are welcome from internationally trained Consultant Interventional Radiologists holding recognised specialist qualifications such as:

• American Board of Radiology with recognised Interventional Radiology training or certification

• UK CCT / FRCR with recognised Interventional Radiology training

• European Board of Interventional Radiology

• Royal College Certification, Canada

• Australian FRANZCR with Interventional Radiology training

• Arab Board

• MD / DNB / FCPS or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification

Candidates from the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, the Middle East, Africa and South America may be considered, subject to eligibility for UAE medical licensing and the healthcare facility's credentialing requirements.
