## Description

CARPE DIEM COUNSELING is seeking a compassionate and qualified **Mental Health Therapist** to provide professional counseling and behavioral health services to clients. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting clients in achieving improved emotional well-being while maintaining a professional, ethical, and confidential therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions as appropriate.
-   Complete client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
-   Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
-   Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary.
-   Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
-   Collaborate with other healthcare and behavioral health professionals.
-   Maintain client confidentiality and comply with applicable professional standards.
-   Participate in case consultations and treatment planning.
-   Provide appropriate referrals and community resources when needed.
-   Maintain required continuing education and professional development.

## Requirements

-   Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
-   Current Virginia clinical license or eligibility for appropriate licensure.
-   Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical assessment skills.
-   Experience providing mental health counseling preferred.
-   Ability to maintain accurate and confidential client records.
-   Strong ethical standards and professional judgment.
-   Compassionate, patient-centered approach to client care.
