## Description

Intertek, Multinational Company leadr in ATIC (Assurace, Testing, Inspection, Certification) is seeking a **Senior Corrosion** **Engineers** for upcoming work related to Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) phase of multiple Energy projects.

The Corrosion Engineer provides technical authority for materials selection, corrosion control, and integrity assurance during EPC project phases, ensuring that all designs, specifications, and procurement packages comply with project requirements, international codes, and Client standards. The role ensures that the facility is designed for safe, reliable, and corrosion‑resistant operation throughout its lifecycle.

**Responsabilities:**

-   Develop documentation related to Corrosion Control (Manuals, Philosophies) and Materials Selection (Guidelines, Diagrams).
-   Perform Corrosion Risk Assessments studies for all process systems.
-   Define piping Corrosion Loops and Circuits, Corrosion Allowances, Design Life Criteria, and Material Classes.
-   Review and approve documentation (PIDs, PFDs, UFDs, Coating specifications, CP specifications).
-   Provide input to RBI studies and inspection strategies, including Integrity Operating Windows development, degradation mechanisms assignment, risk ranking, etc.
-   Ensuring compliance with Client standards and international codes.
-   Provide technical support for welding issues, material substitutions, coating failures, CP installation.
-   Support pre‑commissioning and commissioning teams on chemical injection, flushing & cleaning, passivation and preservation.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering. Master’s degree in Corrosion Engineering is an advantage.
-   Proven experience within Corrosion Engineering department of EPC projects. Minimum 2 projects shall be for a major Energy company.
-   Proven experience as Corrosion Engineer during operational phases (brownfield experience).
-   Minimum 5 years combined experience (EPC + Operational) for Corrosion Engineers; minimum 10 years combined experience for Senior Corrosion Engineers.
-   RBI/IDMS Software experience is essential (e.g. Antea, One APM-Meridium, DNV Synergi, Credo, Aware, etc.).  
-   API 580 qualified or minimum 5 years proven experience in executing RBI Assessments.
-   Nice to have: NACE/AMPP Corrosion or CP Specialist
-   Nice to have: API core (510/570/653) and API supplemental (571, 577) certifications
-   Conversant with international codes and standards related to corrosion and materials.
-   Strong knowledge in damage mechanisms related to both onshore and offshore energy assets (upstream, midstream, downstream).
-   Thorough understanding of materials behavior and metallurgy for carbon steels, low‑alloy steels, stainless steels, duplex alloys, nickel alloys, and corrosion‑resistant cladding systems.
