**$22–$25 per hour + bonus | Full-Time El Segundo, CA**

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting families directly while also taking ownership of the behind-the-scenes details that protect revenue cycle integrity. The Authorizations Coordinator serves as a bridge between families, funding sources, Clinical, Scheduling, Intake, and Billing teams by ensuring authorization records are complete, accurate, timely, and aligned with payor requirements.

How will you help create a World Without Limits:

· Serve as a trusted point of contact for families navigating authorization requirements, insurance changes, benefit updates, coverage lapses, and funding source transitions

· Communicate authorization status, missing documentation, next steps, and insurance-related requirements to families in a clear, patient, and supportive manner

· Ensure timely submission of all required documents to funding sources to support authorization approval and continuation of services

· Review authorization records for accuracy, completeness, effective dates, service codes, approved units, funding source requirements, and alignment with scheduled services and across internal systems

· Partner with Billing and Revenue Cycle teams to identify authorization gaps, resolve discrepancies, prevent avoidable denials, and support clean claim submission

· Collaborate with Clinical, Intake, Scheduling, Billing teams and external stakeholders to protect continuity of care and integrity of services

· Track recurring payor issues, documentation delays, authorization trends, and denial risks to support process improvement escalating complex issues while maintaining ownership of follow-through

· Perform ad hoc duties and projects as assigned

## Requirements

**Minimum Requirements**

· High School Diploma or GED

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong client service mindset

· Strong time management, follow-through, and attention to detail

· Ability to review documentation for accuracy and identify missing or inconsistent information

· Experience with Microsoft Suite

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of PHI

· Ability to pass FBI & DOJ fingerprinting

· Negative TB test results

· Valid government ID

· Bilingual in Spanish

**Preferred Qualifications**

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Experience in healthcare customer service, patient access, intake, authorizations, eligibility verification, or revenue cycle support

· Familiarity with claim denial prevention, authorization audits, service code/unit tracking, payor compliance requirements, or billing integrity workflows

· Experience with Salesforce, MeasurePM, CRM systems, EHR systems, or billing-related platforms

· Knowledge of ABA therapy, behavioral health, healthcare intake, or payor authorization workflows

Preferred qualifications may be overlooked for candidates who demonstrate exceptional client service, documentation accuracy, compliance awareness, and follow-through.
