**Role:** HGV Waste Water Operative

**Location:** Davyhulme

**Hours:** 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm.

**Salary:** Up to £36,400 per annum (dependent on experience)

Sapphire Utility Solutions, a Lanes Group Company specialise in multiple divisions.

**United Utilities** operates across a number of contracts across our business, predominantly wastewater network services as part of the AMP 7 period plan.  
The Team support reactive and planned maintenance across the CCTV & Jetting and Civils teams, further supported by our in house Traffic Management Division and Capital Projects covering the entire UU network.

**Purpose of the role:**

The role available will be working from the Davyhulme WWTW alongside a United Utilities Customer Support Technician, where you will be required to work on the Bucket 1 reactive contract solving problems on the sewer network. This role will be on a shift-based pattern with working times of 8am to 6pm front shift and 12pm to 10pm back shift. **Weekends and Bank Holidays are included.**

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   You will be working closely with a CST (UU Operative) to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities.
-   Attending to customers, informing them of works to be carried out and answering any concerns as well as timescales
-   Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow.
-   Carry out all aspects of high pressure water jetting
-   Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
-   Carry out CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
-   Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes
-   Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures
-   Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.

**Key Requirements**

**Skills & Experience:**

-   HGV Class 2 driving licence with no more than 6 points.
