We are seeking professionals with expertise in Medicaid policy, program design, or program administration.

### About the Role

The Medicaid Policy & Program Specialist will help research, interpret, develop, and implement Medicaid policies and program initiatives.

We welcome policy analysts, program specialists, researchers, agency professionals, and experienced practitioners. Your expertise may be concentrated in one Medicaid area or span several disciplines.

### Responsibilities

-   Research and analyze Medicaid policies, program requirements, and practices.
-   Assess how policy changes affect beneficiaries, providers, agencies, and health plans.
-   Support program design, implementation, and evaluation.
-   Draft policy briefs, guidance documents, procedures, and recommendations.
-   Compare state approaches and identify relevant practices.
-   Support stakeholder interviews, working groups, and public engagement.
-   Review program documents and identify gaps or implementation challenges.
-   Collaborate with operational, legal, clinical, and analytical specialists.
-   Translate complex information into clear, useful materials.

## Requirements

### Qualifications

-   Experience working with U.S. Medicaid policy or programs.
-   Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
-   Ability to interpret complex program information and explain its practical implications.
-   Experience preparing reports, policy documents, guidance, or operational materials.
-   Ability to work collaboratively with different professional disciplines.

### Preferred Experience

-   State Medicaid agency, health plan, public policy, or government advisory experience.
-   State plan amendments, waivers, managed care, eligibility, benefits, or provider policy.
-   Long-term services and supports, behavioral health, or other specialized Medicaid programs.
-   Program evaluation or stakeholder engagement.
