## Description

### The Work

LAUSD's facilities program is one of the largest in the country, delivered under DSA oversight. As a Senior Project Manager II, you sit above the project level, providing construction oversight to Owner's Authorized Representatives and steering the District's largest and most complex programs.

You resolve the hard problems: complex disputes, change orders with district-wide impact, and cost and schedule variances across a portfolio. You develop and monitor OAR performance, review progress against schedules, and provide functional direction over cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control.

You work across District branches and departments, support bid and contract planning with Regional Directors, perform fiscal management across multiple projects, and help shape the internal policies and procedures the program runs on.

### What You Will Own

·        Construction oversight of OARs and the largest, most complex programs

·        Resolution of complex project issues, disputes, and high-impact change orders

·        OAR performance: development, assignment, and monitoring

·        Progress against construction schedules and variance monitoring across the portfolio

·        Functional direction over cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control

·        Fiscal management across multiple projects and coordination across District branches

## Requirements

### What You Bring

·        Path A: 20 years of project and construction management, 10 of them managing large programs with projects over $50M (not cumulative), plus 5 years in educational, public works, or large commercial construction, plus a degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management (a CCM from CMAA may substitute for the degree)

·        Path B: 25 years of project and construction management, 20 of them managing large programs with projects over $50M (not cumulative), plus the same 5 years; degree and CCM preferred, not required

### Preferred

·        Design-Build, BIM, and LEED and/or CHPS experience

·        DSA construction and design process experience

## Benefits

### Compensation

Salary range: $234,000 to $257,000 per year, based on experience.

Benefits: health, dental, and vision at low cost; 401k; three weeks of PTO; and an ESOP (employee stock ownership) at no cost to you, with a 3% Safe Harbor contribution vested on day one.

### Why MAAS

MAAS has spent nearly 40 years earning the trust of 50+ educational institutions across California, managing over $10B in projects. That track record means the work here is stable, funded, and consequential. You are not chasing the next contract.

As a MAAS employee, you are also an owner. The company is 100% employee-owned through an ESOP, a retirement benefit provided at no cost to you, on top of your salary. MAAS is a profitable, well-run organization and our share price has more than doubled since the plan's inception, with continued growth year over year. Your ownership stake builds the longer you stay, and ESOP participants nationally tend to accumulate 2.5x more in retirement savings than employees at non-ESOP companies.

In an industry not known for prioritizing culture, 96% of MAAS employees say it is a great place to work, and 100% say people genuinely care about each other.
