## Description

Jacobian is an international digital health company and a pioneer in AI-assisted medical diagnostics. We develop software solutions that combine clinical expertise with cutting-edge technology to make diagnostics more precise and efficient worldwide. With a team of around 170 employees, we are represented in ten countries. Our global collaboration is directed from our headquarters in Munich, Germany, and our office in Pittsburgh, USA.

### Your Role

As a Senior Technical Project Manager on our EMEA Customer Success team, you own the delivery of SmartReports implementations for hospitals and radiology practices across the region — from contract signature through go-live and into hypercare. The "technical" in the title doesn't mean you design the solution yourself — that's what our integration architects and engineers are for — it means you can follow and steer the technical conversation: you understand what an HL7 interface is and why it might fail, you know which questions to ask a hospital IT department, and you make sure technical decisions get properly documented, communicated, and executed on schedule. You're the person who sits between the customer's IT department, our internal delivery teams, and partner vendors (RIS/PACS providers), keeping everyone aligned on scope, timeline, and risk.

### Your Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end delivery of SmartReports implementations across EMEA — from discovery and solution design through configuration, integration, testing, go-live, and hypercare — following our phase-gate delivery model.
- Coordinate and document the solution design, working with our integration architects and engineers to capture integration architecture, interface decisions, and configuration options.
- Manage technical workstreams with hospital IT, tracking and coordinating HL7/RIS/PACS integration topics, network and security requirements, and deployment questions.
- Manage external technology and channel partners, coordinating delivery wherever results depend on third parties.
- Qualify and escalate issues during implementation: gather the relevant context, write clear, complete tickets for Engineering, and track them to resolution — keeping the customer informed along the way.
- Serve as the primary customer contact throughout implementation — running status calls, agendas, minutes, and decision logs with clear, structured communication up to executive level.
- Hand over cleanly into operations through structured transitions to Customer Support, complete documentation, and readiness checkpoints, and contribute to our internal knowledge base so learnings scale beyond a single project.

## Requirements

- Several years of project management experience delivering enterprise software or healthcare IT implementations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM, Business Informatics, IT, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical affinity — you're comfortable in conversations about HL7 interfaces, RIS/PACS environments, and hospital IT constraints, and you can translate between engineers and non-technical stakeholders; you don't need to be an engineer or architect yourself.
- Proven ability to run multiple concurrent projects and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, external vendors) without formal authority.
- Strong documentation discipline: solution design write-ups, status reports, decision logs, and tickets that others can actually work from.
- Excellent communication in English; German at a professional level strongly preferred for the DACH customer base.
- Understanding of medical/radiology terminology and clinical workflows is a plus.
- Awareness of working in a regulated environment (medical device software, GDPR) is a plus.
- Experience with Jira-based delivery and phase-gate project models.
- Experience with speech recognition, structured reporting, or AI-supported clinical documentation.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up 10-15% of the time.

## Benefits

- 30 vacation days: For your recovery and a healthy work-life balance.
- Wellpass: Access to gyms and wellness facilities across Germany
- JobRad & JobTicket: Support for sustainable commuting (bicycle leasing as well as a EUR 17.45/month subsidy toward the JobTicket).
- Training budget: An annual, individual budget for your professional and personal development.
- Corporate Benefits: Access to a platform with discounts on travel, electronics, fashion, and more.
- Flexibility: Flexible working hours and a remote work model (up to 100% within Germany) possible.
