### We're Hiring: Financial Controller (Remote)

Are you an experienced **Financial Controller** who enjoys combining hands-on finance with strategic business support?

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of budgeting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and cost management while partnering with leadership to drive smarter financial decisions.

**Location:** Remote (South Africa)  
**Working Hours:** 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tennessee Time (Central Time) with some flexibility  
**Salary:** R 54,100–59,000  

### What You'll Be Doing

-   Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight across the business.
-   Manage day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks.
-   Oversee accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger accuracy.
-   Review transactions across QuickBooks, Rippling Spend, and American Express.
-   Prepare management reports, budget vs. actuals, and financial insights.
-   Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial processes.
-   Partner with department leaders to keep spending aligned with budgets.
-   Strengthen financial controls and resolve discrepancies proactively.

## Requirements

### What We're Looking For

-   5–10 years of experience in Financial Control, Finance Management, or Accounting.
-   Strong hands-on experience with **QuickBooks** (or a similar accounting platform).
-   Proven experience with budgeting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
-   Excellent financial analysis skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
-   Strong attention to detail and confidence working independently.

### Highly Preferred

-   Experience in a **residential healthcare environment**, such as a rehab facility, nursing home, hospital, or assisted living facility.
-   Experience working with a **US-based company**.
-   Exposure to **Rippling Spend**, **American Express**, or similar expense management platforms.

_A CA qualification is not required—practical, hands-on experience is valued just as highly._
