## Description

Apt Resources is seeking a Facilities Manager / Facility Management Manager for our client in Angola, a well-established organization managing a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will oversee facilities operations, MEP maintenance, building systems, and service standards across a large property portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Oversee facilities management operations across multiple properties and locations
-   Manage MEP maintenance activities, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and related building systems
-   Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure smooth property operations
-   Coordinate with internal teams, technicians, contractors, and external service providers
-   Monitor the performance, safety, and compliance of building systems and facilities services
-   Support the implementation, operation, or improvement of Building Management Systems, BMS
-   Ensure facilities are maintained according to required operational, safety, and service standards
-   Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, service performance, issues, and improvement plans
-   Manage vendor performance, service schedules, and maintenance documentation
-   Support planning and execution of facility upgrades, repairs, and improvement projects
-   Ensure quick resolution of technical issues across managed properties
-   Work closely with senior management to improve efficiency, cost control, and service quality

## Requirements

-   Proven experience as a Facilities Manager, Facility Manager, FM Manager, MEP Manager, or similar role
-   Strong background in facilities management and MEP maintenance
-   Experience managing multiple properties, buildings, or sites
-   Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building maintenance systems
-   Experience with BMS operation or implementation is highly preferred
-   Ability to manage contractors, technicians, vendors, and service providers
-   Strong reporting, coordination, and problem-solving skills
-   Portuguese language proficiency is strongly preferred. Candidates with strong Spanish language skills may also be considered
-   Prior experience in international, commercial, residential, hospitality, real estate, or large property operations would be an advantage
