## Description

CCDS is seeking an experienced **Network Security Engineer** to join our team for a **one-year, project-based contract** in **Sohar, Oman**.

**Employment Details:**

-   **Location:** Sohar, Oman
-   **Contract Type:** One-year project-based contract
-   **Work Arrangement:** Full-time, on-site

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network security solutions.
-   Administer and optimize Palo Alto and Fortinet security products.
-   Monitor network performance, security events, and potential threats.
-   Implement firewall policies, VPNs, routing, switching, and access-control rules.
-   Investigate network and security incidents and provide timely resolutions.
-   Perform system upgrades, security hardening, and configuration reviews.
-   Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational reports.
-   Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and customers to meet service requirements.

## Requirements

**Mandatory Requirements:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
-   Proven professional experience in network security engineering.
-   Strong hands-on experience with **Palo Alto firewalls and security solutions**.
-   Solid experience with Fortinet technologies.
-   Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, network protocols, and firewall management.
-   Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
-   Ability to work full-time and on-site in **Sohar, Oman**.

**Mandatory Certifications:**

-   **Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)**
-   **Fortinet NSE 7**
