**Overview**

Reporting to the Compounding Lead, the Compounder is responsible for accurately manufacturing bulk products, ensuring efficient set-up, and operation in a manufacturing scale according to product and procedure specifications.

**What You’ll Do**

-   Follow step-by-step large scale manufacturing procedures utilizing good documentation practices. 
-   Ensure bulk products are accurately compounded according to specific formulation procedure and that all relevant compounding guidelines and quality standards are maintained.
-   Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure all compounded products are consistent and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)..
-   Learn to operate various equipment, including tanks,  mixers, pumps, and homogenizers.  This includes learning how to scan and transact raw materials in Batchmaster.
-   Complete all daily compounding tasks assigned to efficiently and timely. 
-   Wear all appropriate PPE when working with the raw material, chemicals, and equipment required for compounding. .
-   Report equipment issues to the Maintenance team.  Identify, tag, and isolate any malfunctioning or damaged equipment and have it removed from service. 
-   Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company and safety standards.  Follow all safety guidelines and be an integral part of the safety environment at the workplace
-   Any additional responsibilities that supervisor requires for the success of the department and company.

## Requirements

What We Require

-   High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree in a science preferred
-   Excellent English written and verbal communication 
-   Ability to stand for a significant portion of the shift
-   Ability to lift up 50 lbs regularly through the shift. 
-   Must be willing to work overtime and/or weekend work as required by management or the production schedule
-   Must be able to perform fundamental mathematical calculations
-   Availability to be onsite daily with reliable attendance during work hours
-   Consistently meet individual and team goals daily 
-   Ability to work cross-functionally across the organization, maintaining a positive and professional attitude
