## Description

**Job Description:**

-   Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js aligned with business and technical requirements.
-   Build and expose RESTful APIs following best practices in API design, security, and performance.
-   Develop and optimize database queries, schemas, and transactions using MySQL or SQL Server.
-   Configure and manage APIs using API management platforms such as IBM API Connect, including publishing, security policies, and access control.
-   Support deployment, testing, debugging, and performance tuning of backend services and APIs across environments.
-   Collaborate with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and scalable system integration.

## Requirements

**Job Qualification:**

-   **Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related 4-year course.**
-   **3–5 years of experience in backend or API development using Node.js.**
-   **Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development principles.**
-   **Proficient in working with relational databases such as MySQL and/or SQL Server.**
-   **Experience with API management platforms such as IBM API Connect or similar tools.**
-   **Familiar with API security standards including JWT, OAuth, and API key management.**
-   **Experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.**
-   Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
