## Description

Egypt Education Platform is urgently seeking a skilled **Science Lab Technician** at one of our **Prime National Schools - Westview International Language School**. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining lab equipment, preparing materials for experiments, and ensuring the lab environment is safe and organized for both students and staff.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Prepare and setup laboratory equipment and materials for experiments and practical sessions across various subjects.
-   Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
-   Assist teachers in conducting experiments and demonstrations, providing support to students as needed.
-   Ensure compliance with safety regulations and lab protocols, maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
-   Manage inventory of lab supplies, ensuring that materials are stocked and equipment is properly stored and accessible.
-   Document and report any issues with lab equipment or supplies to the relevant staff.
-   Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of the laboratory, including disposing of hazardous materials according to safety guidelines.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in science, pharmacy or chemical engineering.
-   Experience in a laboratory setting in an educational environment is preferred.
-   Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
-   Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-   Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
-   Good communication and interpersonal skills to support teachers and students.
-   Proficient in using laboratory instruments and general computer applications.
