## Description

### What is your mission?

We are looking for a **Senior GL Accountant** to maintain general ledger integrity, lead month-end close activities, perform complex reconciliations, and support accurate financial reporting across multiple systems and e-commerce platforms. The role involves general ledger management, NetSuite reconciliations, Shopify accounting, Amazon Seller Central reconciliations, inventory accounting, financial reporting, and audit support.

**You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:**

-   Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of the general ledger across multiple systems and sales channels.
-   Lead and execute full-cycle month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, account analyses, and reporting support.
-   Perform detailed reconciliations of accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, cash, and other balance sheet accounts.
-   Reconcile Shopify transactions, including sales, discounts, refunds, taxes, fees, payouts, and settlement activities.
-   Reconcile Amazon Seller Central transactions and balances to ensure accurate financial reporting.
-   Perform reconciliations within NetSuite and maintain system accuracy and financial data integrity.
-   Investigate discrepancies, analyse variances, and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner.
-   Support financial audits by preparing documentation, schedules, reconciliations, and auditor requests.
-   Collaborate with operations, e-commerce, and finance teams to ensure accurate accounting treatment and financial reporting.
-   Assist with accounting activities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management when required.
-   Develop, document, and enhance accounting procedures, internal controls, and reconciliation processes.
-   Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and stronger financial controls.

## Requirements

### Who are we looking for?

-   Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-   Minimum 4 years of Big Four accounting firm experience.
-   Strong experience in corporate accounting with ownership of the full month-end close process.
-   Experience supporting e-commerce, consumer products, SaaS, or multinational business environments.
-   Proven expertise in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and inventory accounting.
-   Strong understanding of GAAP and/or IFRS, including revenue recognition principles.
-   Hands-on experience with Shopify reconciliations.
-   Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central reconciliations.
-   Hands-on experience using NetSuite.
-   Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting.
-   Experience supporting audits, preparing documentation, and maintaining internal controls.
-   Ability to successfully complete a GAAP assessment and advanced Excel assessment.
-   Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
-   Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
-   Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyse complex financial transactions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-   Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking capabilities.
