**Eye Care Technician: Premier Eye Associates**

### Key Responsibilities

·    Guide patients through intake, health history review, and diagnostic pre-testing

·    Reinforce patient education related to contact lenses, medical eye care, and prevention

·    Assist doctors with contact lens services, follow-up care, and treatment preparation

·    Provide attentive, organized, and patient-centered service throughout each visit

### Required Qualifications

·    High school diploma or equivalent

·    Warm, professional demeanor and strong communication skills

·    Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a busy setting

·    Comfort using computers and learning new systems

·    Willingness to learn clinical and optical skills and work as part of a team

### Preferred Qualifications

·    Previous experience in healthcare, optometry, ophthalmology, optical sales, or customer service

·    Experience with scheduling, electronic health records, insurance, or multi-line phone systems

Prior eye care experience is helpful but not required.

### Position Details

·    Full-time position

·    8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday

·    Starting pay: $14.00 per hour; final pay is based on relevant experience and qualifications
